Welcome to the CMUBDC web page! The Ballroom Dance Club functions as both a social organization and a dance school, teaching novices and veterans a large variety of ballroom dances. Our goal is to promote a variety of forms of dancing, and to bring members of the Pittsburgh community together to have fun. Anyone can learn to dance - including you!

We had 5 couples attend the DCDI competition in Maryland. We had lots of call backs and everyone had a great time! You don't even need a partner to go; you can get matched with someone there if you don't have a partner. Everyone should try a competition at least once.

Our first Intermediate lesson was much bigger than expected, so we're not going to be able to meet in Morewood for it this semester. We're looking for a bigger space, but this week's lesson is moved from Monday (9/17) to Friday (9/21) 9-10:30pm in Rangos. We'll let people know where the lesson next week will be via email on Saturday--hopefully Monday in a bigger room but possibly after the Beginner lesson on Thursday.
