Welcome to the CMU Ballroom Dance Club! Our club is both a social organization, with beginner lessons and social dance events, and a dance school, teaching novices and veterans a large variety of Ballroom and Latin dances. We welcome all CMU students and members of the Pittsburgh community. Anyone can learn to dance - including you!
- Do I need a partner? Nope--we encourage people to rotate partners at lessons to learn faster.
- Do I need experience? No--our Beginner lessons are geared towards newcomers.
- What if I'm already awesome? Our Silver and Intermediate lessons cater to competition-oriented dancers and dancers looking to learn more advanced steps and technique.
- What if I want more? We go to competitions in Pittsburgh, the Midwest, and the Northeast. We can help you arrange private lessons with student instructors or professional instructors. And we have extra events during the year to learn dances like Salsa, Swing, and Hustle.

January 16, 2012: Ballroom Review, Spring 2012
There's no lesson tonight due to MLK day. We will hold two reviews on Tuesday and Wednesday January 17-18 at 7:30pm in Rangos. Be sure to stop by to refresh your memory from last semester.
August 16, 2011: Ballroom Rush, Fall 2011
Before committing to a semester-long membership with the CMU Ballroom Dance Club, check out what we have to offer! Join us for our new "Ballroom Rush" event on August 29, 31, September 5, 7, from 8PM to 11PM in Rangos Ballroom, UC, and sample all the different dances we'll be teaching throughout the semester! Come with friends, as this event is FREE and open to EVERYONE in the Pittsburgh community, and enjoy performances by the competition team, sample lessons of various dances, and meeting other club members!
